Application guide
These are formulation starting points, not validated production recipes. Dosage, mixing, drying and compatibility must be confirmed for each finished product with OTTOCAPS® and application-specific trials. Brand names shown in the images are fictional examples.
Incorporate OTTOCAPS® Ruby into a compatible softener or detergent base near the end of production, using gentle mixing to disperse the capsules. For powder detergents, develop a suitable carrier or granule before blending. Check compatibility with the surfactant system, storage stability and fragrance performance through wash-and-dry trials.
Apply OTTOCAPS® Silver to absorbent paper by dipping or spraying. Paper type is very critical, we can provide if you need additionally. Then dry under conditions that preserve fragrance and paper shape. Cut and assemble the hanging freshener, and evaluate scent release and shelf life in the final packaging which is airtight for long shelf-life.
Blend OTTOCAPS® Silver into a compatible water-based coating or binder and apply it to a paper or plastic patch. Keep the fragrance layer separate from the adhesive unless compatibility is confirmed. Dry gently, then assess adhesion, print quality and fragrance release after handling or rubbing.
Distribute OTTOCAPS® Ruby onto a suitable powder carrier using a controlled coating or granulation step. Dry under validated conditions before blending the fragrance granules into the finished powder. Check capsule integrity, residual moisture, flowability and scent performance; avoid assuming that a liquid slurry can be added directly to any dry powder.
Disperse OTTOCAPS® Silver in a compatible water-based textile spray with gentle mixing. Select a spray pump suitable for the dispersion and test the finished product on representative wool and carpet samples. Confirm drying, colourfastness and residue before use, and assess spray exposure and inhalation safety.
Add OTTOCAPS® Silver to a compatible textile-perfume base during final blending, keeping mixing gentle. Fill into a suitable spray bottle after checking dispersion stability and nozzle performance. Test for staining, residue and fragrance release on different fabrics, and validate safe spray exposure before commercial use.
Incorporate OTTOCAPS® Gold into a compatible alcohol-free perfume base using gentle mixing, then assess stability and the intended dispensing system. Before skin use or sale, complete the required cosmetic safety assessment, fragrance-allergen review and regulatory checks for the finished formula; ingredient compatibility alone does not establish product safety.
Evaluate OTTOCAPS® Gold as a fragrance additive in a compatible water-based paint. Introduce it during the final let-down stage, after pigment grinding, using gentle mixing. Trial the formulation for storage stability, film formation, adhesion, colour and scent release, and assess indoor emissions before specifying it for occupied spaces.
Add OTTOCAPS® Ruby to the final wash or rinse bath of finished socks, after knitting, dyeing and washing, so the capsules deposit onto the fibre instead of being removed by earlier process steps. Control bath pH, temperature and mechanical action so the shell survives, then dry gently. Evaluate fragrance release on the fresh fabric and after repeated home laundering before fixing a production protocol.
Combine zinc ricinoleate, which binds odour molecules, with OTTOCAPS® Silver, which carries fragrance, in a compatible water-based spray. Add the capsules last with gentle mixing, then confirm that both systems stay dispersed and effective over shelf-life storage. Trial on the real surfaces — toilets, pet beds and similar hygiene areas — and check drying, residue, odour reduction and safe spray exposure.
Disperse OTTOCAPS® Silver in a compatible reed-diffuser carrier with gentle mixing, then fill the bottle and insert the reeds. Capsules can settle or block the reed channels, so check that the dispersion stays uniform and the reeds keep drawing over weeks. Trial the finished diffuser for scent throw, drying and shelf life in a real room before fixing a carrier, capsule loading and reed specification.
